At last weekโ€™s Womenโ€™s Giving Fund grant celebration, Summit Community Gardens - EATS was honored to receive a runner-up grant of $25,000! I am so proud of our team and so moved by the support of our community. As a small but mighty organization, we are grateful that the Womenโ€™s Giving Fund recognized our impact, with the Food Farmacy highlighted in 2023 and Edible Education in 2024. What a powerful endorsement of our work!

Join our efforts! Edible Education helps Pre-K to 9th graders become adventurous eaters and build lifelong healthy eating habits while providing 1-2 servings of fresh fruits and vegetables at each visit. Help ensure the joyful cooking, gardening, nutrition, and environmental education we bring to 2,250 local youth each year!

I believe our community recognizes the strength of our work. We need your support to make it happen. Thank you!

Warmly, Helen

Land Acknowledgment

Summit Community Gardens and EATS acknowledges that the land on which we garden and gather is the ancestral homeland of the Ute people and that land throughout Utah is the ancestral homeland of the Ute, Shoshone, Paiute, and Goshute tribes. We recognize all indigenous people as the original stewards of this land and acknowledge that many practices used today in gardening originated from these people.

Summit Community Gardens and EATS is committed to creating a space for all people to have access to locally grown produce and a place to gather, learn, and grow at high altitudes
